Kingfisher viewpoint
An interesting couple of hours with the Glasgow branch of the Scottish Wildlife Trust. The event was billed as a Kingfisher Trail, along the Kelvin Walkway and to my surprise we saw two in the first few minutes as we set out across Hump-Back bridge over the River Kelvin. Difficult to spot amongst the brackish Dogwood, and no blue/green visible just orange and white. Then nothing other than a dipper at the end of the afternoon.
Lots of useful chat about otter sightings along the Allander Water.
