Creepy!

Maybe I watch/read too much scary stuff, I don't know. Brian brought this garden ornament home from his Mum's when cleaning out the flat. He was going to bring it into the house but I said it had to go in the yard - it gives me the creeps! He put it facing the back room window.

A few nights ago I dreamt that I came downstairs for a pee in the night and these two were stood staring in the window. (I try to make sure the back room curtains are shut before going to bed!) Of course the dream woke me up, and then I needed a pee for real! It took me a while to psych myself up to come downstairs!

I had work this morning. It wasn't too hectic, nor was it as cold as last week. I got Brian to take/fetch me but I'm going to start walking home next week. I want to get back to normal.

I almost forgot: last night we had an electrician come round to have a look at the electric problem in the kitchen. He said the problem is the wires have been damaged by rodents. To have it rewired we will also need to have the fuse-box replaced. Apparently fuse boxes like the one we have were discontinued in the 1970's! Our electrician would not have been born then...

He had a look at everything, took a deposit and will call to arrange when he will come to do the work next week. Hopefully we can just have the kitchen rewired and not need the whole house done.
