I Have Been To The Vets

Today I have been to the vets; I went in the big green thing that the humans go out in. I yowled all the way there, but I was good in the vets. As you can see, I am not looking my best and I have lost some weight, but I still weight more than Florence! It seems I am in good condition considering my age and my teeth are good. 
 
The vet sent mummy out to wait in the waiting room, but mummy told me she would be back to collect me to go home. Then while the nurse held me, the vet shaved my neck and then stuck a needle in to get some of my blood; I hope she did not take too much. Then I went home; I was quiet all the way home.
 
It seems I might have a variety of things wrong with me, but the blood tests should show what is wrong. I might have a kidney problem or diabetes, because I do drink a lot of water. I might have to have some medication, like daddy or a special diet, like mummy We will know more later today when the vet telephones with my results. It is just like waiting for daddy’s blood test results every week; Oh I do hope I do not have to go every week!
 
Today’s picture is me, sitting on the back of the sofa next to the radiator after I returned home. 
 
The temperature, at noon today, was five degrees Celsius.
