…for water leaks. Leaks is one of those words I have confused with leeks throughout life. Stationary and stationery trouble me too. Fortunately t’internet is wise to this and corrects my foolishness.

I’d never seen one of these acoustic listening sticks before, but I thought of Instography and his search for the source of the River Forth in his hoose.

Up and away early on the magnificent Borders Buses route 67 to Berwick. It’s a history lesson in a bus. Heading to Newcastle for lunch with laddies who do that sort of thing, and perhaps a couple of beers too. The big test this evening is when I’m riding the Newcastle to Jedburgh bus with a full bladder…..my day might be booked-ended by leaks!
