Day of Days

I visited my friend who is in the hospital due to significant trauma from a fall several days ago.
I'm pleased that he is improving but, sad to say, he is has a long path ahead back to full function.
The sculpture in the hospital lobby called "Day of Days" has become a dear "friend" that I spend a few  minutes with, if possible, when I am at the hospital.
