Sunny

A very pleasant day. Quite mild. We walked from the Abbey down the path alongside the 'red river ' which is more of a stream than a river. We were out quite a while , it was too nice not to. Fletch enjoyed his walk but crashed out in his bed for a few hours when we got home.

Blip and extra of some carving in medieval style   There were to have been 6 but the sculpturer  wasn't paid on time and he never finished them all. 
The 'Knight' looks rather miserable. Maybe because he was never completed.
