Slow news day

Another diptych after another long walk.

I felt so much better today after yesterday's hike through the West End.

Today my destination was Berners Street and the home of Tortoise Media. I was a founder member but has since let my membership lapse. Not because they aren't good, just because there aren't enough hours in the day.

I got an invitation to a 'Think In' featuring journalist Gabriel Gatehouse (he of the podcast 'The Coming Storm').

The guests were a reassuring mix of ages, races and around a third women. I was expecting more from Gabriel than his podcast research but sadly no more, just a completed book to buy.

I had a good walk though.
