British Museum and Barbican

Ferelith is a volunteer tour guide at the British Museum and she has free tickets for the exhibition, so we went to see the Silk Roads Exhibition. I found it really interesting and resolved to learn more... 
Then we were off to the Barbican where we had tickets to see A Midsummer Night's Dream. We bumped into an old friend from the Youth Library Group - strangely we had just been talking about her and wondering how she was doing! It was really lovely to catch up. 
I really enjoyed this play - it was funny, flamboyant - maybe slightly ott? - and very well acted. Matthew Baynton as Bottom was excellent and I really liked Katherine Pearce as Puck.
