Safety in numbers
Mum was wearing 3 pairs of pants this morning, but no socks. #thesunstillshinesinmuddledminds
The morning routine brought forward this morning so that I could catch up with my walking friends for an easy walk with pitstop halfway. We met at Angies, walked down through Bovey Tracey, through the park, under the bridge and onto the Parke Estate. We walked the old railway track, now a walking/cycling route to where we could cut through to visit the Parke cafe. The cut through was closed for resurfacing work this week. Just our luck!! We returned to BT & chose to visit MAKE formerly The Devon Guild of Craftsmen. I'd not visited the cafe at MAKE since Covid. New people, half the cafe space, no vibe, not impressed, probably would'nt bother again. An interesting exhibition of work going on - The Art of Fiction. My Blip is a small section of a patchwork titled Women's Work created with pieces of work collected from makers around the world, using different media. Very interesting.
Back to Mum's, made her meal, then home.
Checked my stored apples in the shed.... Lots of mice activity. Sorted them. Prepped and made a huge batch of pureed apple, breakfast topping that I will freeze in weekly tubs. Made 4 individual chicken, gammon & mushroom pies with a roll of frozen puff pastry. 2 for dinner, 1 for Mum tomorrow, 1 for the freezer.
Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting Abstract Thursday.
