Foxup

I spotted today from afar and had my eye on it for a ride. 

The temperature didn't quite get to the dizzy heights I was expecting in the middle of the ride but it made it more convenient for not having to take my warm layer off. 

Normally, when I've done my there and back to Halton Gill, I can't get up to Foxup because the gritter has nowhere to turn round. Today, it was icy enough for me not to want to loop over higher ground (plus, I'm not sure I'm fit enough!) but the roads were clear to get to Foxup so I enjoyed my extra saunter up to the beautiful but dead end. 

Everywhere was a picture in the blue sky and vibrant greens.
