Coffee with friends

Val, Ruth and I went into Stanhope to Root and Branch this morning. It was our first outing of 2025 and much chatting and catching up was done! The Weardale Community Map is a new addition to the wall in the room where we enjoy our coffee and cakes. It has been started by a local artist. It is labelled as a "living artwork" and will be evolving as things are added. At present there are some key landmarks at each village location. 
This afternoon I've made sure everything is ready and organised for my trip away and train journey tomorrow.
I'm hoping I will be having a much less disrupted journey than those made before Christmas.
