Reflection

It was a very hot day here today. The sky was beautifully blue with fluffy white clouds. I went for a walk by the canal this afternoon. The Grand Union runs along the back of our house and is often a source of interesting reflections. At this time of year the trees on either side of the canal are very dense and green and overshadow the water. If you were lying on the water you would only be able to see a strip of sky running between the overhanging trees.

When I showed this shot to Igor as a possible blip for today he said he liked the angle of the shot. This is the angle you get if you want to photograph the reflection of that strip of sky without falling in the water.
