Musing of a Lady

Little Man had his appointment today, in Amersfoort. The appointment was to see how much Little Man actually understands of what he hears. It took almost two hours to complete. The lady did quite a few different activities with Little Man. I'm not sure how successful this was because Little Man kept losing interest in the activities. From what she said, his word level is below that of a child of the same age, but only speaks one language. She's going to talk to her colleagues and the child doctor who we've been seeing.

We then went back to Utrecht, where I found a hairdresser who gave Little Man a much neeced haircut. We headed home from there. I really enjoy going to Utrecht. I spent most of my teenage years in the city (Kampala) and have lived in London and The Hague. If I was given the choice, I'd be living in the city. It's so much easier getting around and having access to the shops we need to live.

We travelled back via Woerden, and whilst we were walking to the bus stop, I took this photo of Woerden Castle. We got home safely and had a quiet evening. Despite my love of the city, it's good being home.
