Wednesday: Wimbledon Park

If I were nerdy enough to have a list of my favourite tube stations Wimbledon Park would be right up there.  It’s retained its historical character beautifully.  You can sometimes see it in period dramas, for example in ‘The Hours’ where Nicole Kidman, as Virginia Woolf, can be seen waiting for the tube there.

Anyway, I wasn’t there in my Virginia Woolf alter ego but to see my dentist, Dr Nick.  He’s been my dentist for nearly 30 years and is just lovely.  I don’t live in that area anymore but am happy to travel to see him.

Anyway, he’s very happy with me so that’s good news.  He’s happy with my teeth too!
