Who Da Bomb?
Wednesday. A damp and misty start with thick grey clouds. I had a supervising shift this morning—always nice to be out of the office and amongst humans again, but it was swamped. The afternoon had the potential to be over quickly but then managed to complicate itself into lasting far longer. This was definitely another day for grabbing a close-up shot of a quirky little detail and transforming it into something wonderfully weird.
Today’s example started out when I noticed the white plastic control knob of a radiator in one of our stairwells… it had interesting contours and lines. I've found that one of the tricks to working with generative AI tools is developing an instinct for how they respond to various shapes, textures, and patterns. Then, you can predict the kind of results you might get and plan ahead when capturing your initial photograph. It feels a bit like working with animals, in a way.
