My Collecting Addiction

So I'm a bit of an avid gamer. If there's a game you like or know of, there's a good chance I've played it in some capacity. With a PC game library of nearly 800 games and games for consoles of most generations, it takes alot of my time.

I recently re acquired a PS2 from my brother. I grew up on this console, it being the first console I properly owned, and so I have a lot of nostalgia and love for it. So I set out to get a few games today.

One underrated type of game that I truly love are movie tie in games. They tend to get bad reviews, maybe deservedly, but I can't help but be drawn to them. This is probably due to the fact that if I watch a film, I instantly want to play something related to it.

Tie in games were perfect for this, and the PS2 has a wealth of them. Some of my favourites are all of the Lord of the Rings games (shocker), Enter the Matrix and The Matrix: Path of Neo, Terminator 3 Redemption and King Kong. All of these were actually half decent games and worthy companions to their movie counterparts.

Here's to collecting games, retro or not.

Happy Wednesday!
