Scents = Alice.

       For two reasons.
1. She liked scented Plants - I never did find out if it was always there, or developed as her sight deteriorated?
2. Much as she like scents, even Hyacinths; she could not have them in the house = WAY TOO OVERPOWERING.
        New discovery?  There are deciduous Daphnes; as them-over-there say ""Who knew?"
