Wyre Sands and Luna-B
I recently posted a blip of a bathymetric survey vessel that passed in front of my kitchen window.
It had obviously just completed a survey of the local harbour at Kirkcaldy, and two days later I spotted the arrival of a dredger, the Wyre Sands. For the last three days it has been making regular trips out to a designated dropping area with loads of silt it has removed from the harbour.
The other ship in my blip is a bulk carrier, the Lunar-B which has a hold full of grain. It is waiting its turn to enter the harbour because there is another ship already at the berth unloading its grain for the flour mill.
This blip was taken exactlly at sunset but looking to the eastern horizon. The hill is North Berwick Law.
