The Fallen

There is a war memorial in Rippingale to the fallen who went to war from the village, but some names were left off it for reasons now unknown.

There is also this plaque, which was in the Methodist Church but was moved to St Andrew's Church when the Methodist Church closed a few years ago.

The plaque lists those men (and remember they were all very young) who fell in the Great War and whose names are missing from the War Memorial. I have photographed it for a friend who is researching Rippingale's history.
