River Severn

It was very misty in Worcester this afternoon where we had gone for afternoon tea with two friends. The Hotel we went to is right on the river by Diglis Basin. We had a good chat.

A busy day but very enjoyable. We particularly enjoyed watching students from King’s School practising their rowing on the river. It was flowing very quickly and the current was very strong. They were having a hard time rowing back upstream and there were two safety crews out supporting the 6 or 7 crews out rowing.
