More Muriel

Been getting to know our new girls a bit more. This was slightly delayed earlier in the week by Penny (#6 hen), who took the huff and promptly decided she was off for a walk around the neighbourhood. After a fairly sleepless night, one of our neighbours kindly brought round the hen-shaped minx he had discovered in his garden that morning...

Muriel is still quite little, and has fantastic hair. She also has trouble staying awake at the moment (a lot of hens do at this age) - if she sits down on someone's knee she conks out in a couple of minutes. Awww.
