We were having our morning cuppa when I heard some knocking frrom outside.  At first I thought it was someone at the door.  No-one there so I concluded I had imagined it.  Then I heard a tapping at a window so I thought someone was trying to get our attention.  I heard it once more and was able to identify where it was coming from.  Went stright there to find a pheasant chapping at our window.  We hadn't put anything out on the bird feeder which was duly done after our hungry pheasant posed for a blip.
