Assessing the damage

Finally got to the allotment to assess the damage from the New Year’s Day flood.
The edgings of most of the beds had shifted, as had the bench and half the decked area where the chairs are.
It took a whole 15 minutes or so to get it all back in place. The produce that’s left will have to go as it’s been contaminated by flood water. Not a disaster.
In other news we think we have had our offer on a house accepted and now have a complete chain. Just waiting for Estate Agents to call back. More news when that happens.
