Magic Sand

Beautiful weather today so children had out door play today at the centre.
Between patients I managed to nip out and play with 'magic sand'.
This is ordinary sand that is coated with a hydrophobic substance and when you pour in water it remains dry. You can build little models with it and it sometimes sparkles as little silvery air bubbles are trapped amongst the grains of sand.
Oh I wish I was 3 again - I could have played all day with it!
