Nature Diary...in the hedge

Iris berries noticed in the hedge today.
Another wonderful day, with a clear blue sky and non- stop sunshine all day. A feeble puff of wind very occasionally and the sound of two lawn mowers as some people have started in earnest the early, much needed work in their gardens. 
A delightfully Spring like day albeit early January. Splendid!!
