Brain food?

Have you tried this novelty product which claims to provide extra brain food?
Well, I did today simply because it was in my favourite supermarket store and I thought they would never promote a gimmicky processed food product.

How wrong can you be! It's about  the size of a table tennis ball.
I checked the ingredients- freeze dried berries, date paste, chicory and almond butter, plus vitamin C,D, B12, zinc and iron.
Except the vital bit of information – in what quantity- is missing.

Which would you rather have- this novelty food product costing £1with its inflated advertising claims or a banana price 25p with about the same calories?
Well, it's a no brainer.

Also, there is something queasy about the shape which is even more exacerbated when sliced open. It reminds me of a brain.
Sorry M& S ( there I have said it) but I expect more from my favourite High St supermarket than this extravagant claim.
