A bit of the family

I’m currently doing a deep dive into my family history online. Today I was concentrating on the young woman with the long dark curls in this photo, the sister of the other three in the picture. Her story took me in many different and interesting directions. The other young woman in the picture is my great-grandmother Lydia, who I remember visiting as a small child. There were thirteen children altogether, all in this photo with their parents, probably taken in the late 1890s.
