How irresponsible!

On the way out of school, this afternoon, I spotted this vape lying to the side of the path. This was about 30 metres from the exit gate onto the playing field.
my immediate thought was that it was an incredibly stupid, thoughtless and irresponsible way to dispose of, what I imagine is, a disposable vape.
Apart from the fact they should be recycled, they have a lithium battery, it was inside the school grounds. I can only think it was a parent, God forbid it was one of the elder Junior school children. These things are illegal for anyone under 18 years of age.
I shall be emailing the school about it and suggesting they put it in the next newsletter, hopefully someone will have a red face but I doubt they will, or feel a twinge of guilt. If they are stupid enough to throw it away in this fashion I doubt it will bother them in the slightest.

By the way, I shall dispose of it in the proper manner.
