Candersons

I did the horrible chore of cleaning the top of the kitchen cupboards (where the grime is well above eye level), plus all the motley objects that are stored up there. Discovered we could discard/recycle about half of them. Phew.

Had a quick trip up the Walk to visit Pat's Chung Yin - was hoping for a Chinese HNY card for my friend Li, but they don't sell them anymore. Bought some noodles, but they're not a substitute.

The wee shop is D's favourite sweetie shop (it still has them in big jars) - they do salted liquorice and all sorts of delights. It's still called Candersons I assume - looks like it's getting a paint job.

D went across to Dunfermline for the match against Ayr (rearranged from Saturday). I stayed home and listened to Bach and Bob Dylan and tried to avoid doom-scrolling.
