The first leg
I was sitting at the gate when the flight from Amsterdam arrived. It was fascinating to see all the different people appear and do their jobs. The luggage came off, the plane was refuelled, a team of cleaners went on board.
You can see the last people disembarking.
We were 15 minutes late making it tight at Amsterdam. I had to hurry from the far end of terminal D to half way along terminal B.
This was nothing in comparison to Frankfurt. I was looking for the train connection but was directed to a bus. That link worked but I then walked a very long way to be told I needed to go back to where I came from. Then back to the first place. It’s exhausting and I’m looking forward to a rest on the plane.
There is a very active toddler in the lounge and I hope she is not sitting near to me. I am not keen on cute during the night!
This morning there was a hiccough. I had asked Joan to go with Margret to her hospital appointment but my finger had slipped and said 1930 instead of 1030. We found out just in time and Joan was able to postpone another job and still go with Margret. I think that Margret loved the outing too!
Time to board the next flight.
