An old cot quilt!

This is one of the first quilts I made in this style back in the 1980’s. Note the Laura Ashley fabric ….we had some green curtains and some red ones too that I made from this . This one was for a dolls basket. Later I made several bigger cot quilts where the house had more windows so that I could embroider the names, DOB and weight of the babies. I still have the ones I made for my children.

Today I was meant to meet a friend at Runnymede but she photos to say there was an accident and big hold up on the M25 so I turned back as did she! So some sewing and tidying at home.

So much warmer today..10C this afternoon.
