City Square
Good to roll up the blind and see 90% of the snow and ice gone.
Still very wet underfoot l walked up to the train station but still some sneaky little frozen patches that were very slippy so not quite carefree walking but near enough.
The higher l got the foggier it became and l couldn’t see the moor as it was shrouded in mist.
As the train got to Leedsit became much brighter and the sun even came out even though it doesn’t look it on my blip.
Walked to ballet, Tuesday is the easiest of the week to get my steps in and that’s not including the dance session.
Really good to be back and see all my friends but so many of them had been ill over Christmas with flu or the RSV virus.
Had a look at a few things onthe way back to the train but wasn’t tempted. Came back to quite a foggy and grey village.
Called in at the WasteNot shop before l got home just dried cranberries and fennel seeds to buy, l took my own paper bag and tiny jar to be filled up.
Also got two jars of the decaf coffee for my friend B, she finds it hard to get hold of. She is coming to mine tonight along with D and A. It’s for our yearly fish and chip evening….how decadent are we ? :-))
Will have lots to talk about and plan as we are going to London for the National Cross Country Championships ( one of Mr P’s favourite athletic events) D and A are running it, hardy women that they are.
