New... but old

Although this is the new edition it is from 1907. I was gifted this many years ago as a wedding present. It was from my boss at the time who thought it amusing as he knew how much I didn't agree with a woman's place ( and there is a whole section on it!!! ). I was an engineer in a male dominated world. 
I've lovingly kept it and occasionally have a read of sections as it is advocating not only great old recipes but reflections in how to run a good home and more. Plus some adverts from the day
