Not ..........

 ............ the very best shot as they were waaaaay in the distance.

Was just getting dressed early this morning and looked out of the bedroom window (s**t shouts I - deer!!)   Gallop trot, half-dressed, (not a pretty sight) down the stairs for my camera, back up again and they were still there albeit quite far apart - grrrrr - anyway I got a couple of shots in before the female exited stage left and the male slowly followed.

What may be a common occurrence for a lot of you was exciting for me, never seen anything other than muntjac locally - I think these are roe deer.
