A is for

Agapanthus!

My own little challenge this month....the alphabet.

I carried Agapanthus is my wedding bouquet 11 years ago as my florist thought they were pretty and different. I didn't know much about them until my first visit to South Africa where they grow wild. In New Zealand they are classed as a weed!!

My mum has been successful in growing them in the UK and so have I until we moved...
Anyway, I was invited over to my neighbours for a cuppa (I have been working from home today and could quite get used to 10 to 2pm), Pip is now a full time Mum to four children but was a HR Director, so we have a few things in common which is nice. Her eldest son was watering the garden and as you do we got chatting about flowers for Pip to say 'oh I grow those easily, come and have a look'! So pretty, and then I realised that they would be perfect for the A part of my challenge! I am going to get some seeds to see if I have the same joy - wish me luck.

Tomorrow is B....
