A Braw Day

Well that's it done!! I have handed back my keys, computer, phone and completed my exit form. I conducted an interview and did my hand over of all the files and office....ta daaaaaaaaa! I feel relieved - finishing off seems to have taken a long and drawn out amount of time.

My wonderful friend Anne arrived from Edinburgh at 4pm, just as the skip was leaving the drive! SO GREAT to see her.

She makes puppets and has made one of a Fijian boy...who was in the passenger seat, belted in, looking for all his worth like a real boy. I expect if he is found in her suitcase on the way to Fiji, she will have to pay his ticket and he can have a seat!! You will see him in tomorrow's blip.

We had a fab catch up ,many laughs and then headed out for supper with my great friend and her lovely family. This is her gorgeous and colourful courtyard full of every kind of summer bloom you could imagine. We had an amazing spread of veggie food and lots of chilled white...

Once home, Anne and I sat up chatting, sewing and knitting until 2am!!!!! Oops.

Forgot to mention that my leg got uber nippy so I took my plaster off - infection!! Up to the doc for some anti-bi's and a swab. Ouch! Looks gammy! Yuk!
