Night sky
No wildlife videos today, the SD cards show no beasties have visited. Yet, I would question that because some digging and moving has been done by a hefty animal like a badger but nowhere near my cameras....
Just after 2 am, I woke up last night and I fancied a big mug of fresh tea....
Midnight came in the kitchen with me, and asked to go outside so I opened the door and went out with him, with my mug of tea.
The moon was out. I went back in to get my phone and my iPad mini to take some photos. When I came back, the moon was hiding behind some clouds. And so it was difficult taking photos of it.
So I tried taking photos with both devices and only the pixel could cope with the nighttime conditions.
I have blocked the top end of that passage, so hopefully a badger can't come through (will have to keep checking it), but the cats and the fox can get through anywhere. So, with a bit of luck, I can watch the night sky for a few minutes or half an hour from my gate without being surprised by a badgers nose.....
Came back to bed, but a stray cat followed me in. Midnight stayed outside for a bit patrolling his territory. Fed the stray cat, but it followed me into my bedroom. It sat beside my warm radiator, warming its sides, warming the top of its head, and warming its rear end. I have never seen a cat do that before. Then it sat beside the radiator for about half an hour, and then goes off into the night to go about whatever business it goes about. It made me feel sad watching him. I can't touch him. I can't pick him up. He will go for me, but at least he trust me that much, to sit besides my radiator while I am in bed. Maybe he wants to be near some a human for a little bit? He is no bother, and respects the inside of my property...
So, creative is the photo of the moon behind the clouds. I did a Double Exposure in Snapseed, had a little play, and then popped it in procreate to put a few stars back in... this is my offering for today...
Have your best kind of day,
I am just going to have a little nap now to catch up on a little bit of sleep. I missed in the night....
Take care
