Shared spaces

I remember when I was a Minister that there were regular discussions about the need for public bodies to share space and by so doing reduce costs.

The Land Commission which I now chair has a good sharing arrangement in place in Inverness , where we are based, as these signs show . The premises are modern and constructive but post pandemic there is a different issue with which to contend.

The prevalence of working from home means even spaces like these are too big and therefore too costly. How that is tackled across the public sector is the next accommodation and cost challenge.
