Recovering

I was feeling a lot better today so I went to visit Lex for lunch.  She has moved up from the basement and now spends her day in a much pleasanter space with more to do.  Doug made egg salad sandwiches for us, and with tea and banana-chocolate chip muffins it made a fine meal.  We were talking about the kids and jobs and I asked Doug about how his career evolved.  It was a fascinating story and I had a mental image of the young Doug at pivotal points in his life.  I'm hoping to learn more.

Back home with Sylvie now in our (finally) warm home.  It was dreadfully cold last night and this morning the apartment stayed cold despite my fiddling with the heat.

Back to dialysis tomorrow.  We'll get the results of our January labs and see how I'm doing.
