Jazz

We walked along the seafront tonight to a local golf club which hosts jazz once a month. Blip is Derek Nash who is one of the saxophonists in Jools Holland's band. We met Derek many years ago through a friend and  (then) neighbour. He used to play his saxophone in their garden when he visited. He is the reason our son took up saxophone. We have seen him perform many times over the years so were delighted he was here tonight. Brilliant..... as ever, playing a range of saxaphones along with a great band.
Otherwise today : Gym and yoga, a lovely video call catch up with my friend in Australia, shopping and recycling..... busy day!
