Ladies who Lunch

Had intended to go to Boscombe with Mr B for food, but as always I ran late. When we finally got out I realised it was time for the bus to Ashley Cross to meet M&J. So we both went our separate ways.

Arrived a little early so wandered round and popped into a couple of charity shops.

Had our lunch at The Britannia, the pub I went to last week with Mr B. Was so impressed with the Celeriac dish I had then, had to return for the new menu offering "Jerusalem artichoke and winter leek salad, truffle mustard dressing, pickled walnut ketchup, hazelnuts, sesame tuile". It was excellent. My pals enjoyed their dishes too.

Two of us couldn't resist the "Spiced apple & sultana compote, citrus crumble, Calvados crème fraîche. With: vegan custard". Heaven!

After coffee I hurried off to meet Mr B in Lidl, Boscombe. Aside from food, picked up a fun "dachshund door draught excluder" from Aldi.
