Birthday celebrations finished!

Today we finished off my birthday celebrations with the afternoon tea that was cancelled due to the snow last week! We went to the Lavender Tea Rooms in Bakewell.

It was delicious and very filling so much so we are only having dinner now.

We have also built a new coffee table today (H has snagged the old one as a bedside table) and wiggled some furniture around to pop a ladder shelf (that I managed to get for £10) in the house.

The kids are fully back into the swing of school and routine again now, and H is revising for his exams already.

I’ve also had a few cake orders coming in, and have bookings for Jan, Feb, March and as far as October!

We tried a little recovery run today but our legs weren’t ready not quite ready yet, so we will try again tomorrow!
