My view from 9:30 p.m. yesterday to 10:30 a.m. today. Is it just me or can you see lotus flower petals? 

Arrived at the hospital in Bath at 8:45 p.m. yesterday, into A&E cubicle at 9:30 p.m., saw A&E doctor at 10pm. Was impressed at how quickly we got to see a doctor, unlike Tuesday night. However the A&E doctor then said that I should wait to talk to the cardiologist who would be with us shortly. He arrived at 7am this morning. The cardiologist then said I should wait to talk the to the geriatrician who arrived at 10 am this morning. After sitting on a chair beside Dad's bed for 13hrs I left the hospital totally drained and was home by 11am.

I didn't really want to leave but as I only managed the odd wink of sleep last night I really needed to go home, plus I needed my meds. Have been trying to get through to hospital for update all afternoon. At 3.30pm found out he'd finally been moved from A&E to MAU and at 6.30pm finally managed to get somebody to answer the phone in MAU. Still waiting on test results so I shall go back in tomorrow after my morning appointment at the doc's.

Have dictated this message on my phone, so don't be surprised if there are some weird typos! Two tired to type. Off to make a piece of toast for my supper and then to bed. Today I have just existed on toast!
