Greenfinch

Today has largely been taken up with a variety of medical appointments, none of which revealed any problems that I wasn't already aware of, so that's sort of good news.  A recent birthday means that the NHS have "sprung" into action with some age related tests - none of which have anything to do with sanity or mental acuity before you ask.

With the cold weather recently I have today found time to bake a fruitcake which will be "sustaining" for keeping still in the cold outdoors when trying to take photographs of the wildlife.  I've spared you a photo of my baking efforts (though the cake does look good), but instead, here is one of the charm of Greenfinches on its way to take part in the squabble over the sunflower heart feeder the garden earlier today.
