Fieldfare

Amazingly the holly tree still holds plenty of berries, and I guess my earlier thoughts about an oncoming cold spell didn't really materialise. It was cold for a time but not very cold and not for very long. I maintain my watch on the red dots in case they all disappear overnight... then it'll be wooly jumper time.

I denoised the RAW in Topaz prior to a minor crop edit, and it's made the image far more saturated than I would normally process. I think the focus found the berries over the bird this time, too. The fieldfare is having its breakfast and doesn't seem concerned at the huge wobbly lens pointing from the study window...
