Made about 1900.
In those days it was quite common to keep detailed records of products. This air rifle which still works well, was partly made by  BSA, and partly by a Birmingham gunsmith, Lincoln Jeffries.
They were made in two models, one for ladies and one for gentlemen.The number reveals that this is the ladies model!
They must have been tough.
