The Mantle Clock

I inherited Mum and Dad's clock and today we got it back after many months at the repairers. It was completely rebuilt for the second time had been quite a nightmare for the fellow doing the work.
When we obtained the clock from Mum and Dad it didn't work; Dad had apparently sprayed it with WD40 lubricant (not good). We then had it repaired which supposedly was a full recondition. After a couple of years it again stopped working. This repairer had apparently done a poor job and had moved town.

The clock has become very expensive but it is going at the moment!

It is a Napoleon Hat clock and would be around seventy years old. It has a nice chime - well I think so.
