For Whom The Bells Glitter

Hurrah! The sunshine had returned today after days of gloominess and when we headed out for a short drive it felt so great to be able to see some blue sky again.
We weren't quite sure where we were intending to go but as we passed the St John The Baptist Church in Wateringbury, which has featured on a previous blip as part of our Kent churchyards series, I thought I caught the sight of something sparkly out of the corner of my eye.
Therefore, we turned around and stopped outside the church and sure enough the path leading up to the main church door was adorned with festive decorations that were catching the light. I went for a slightly different angle for my shot of these glittery bells as I wanted to also include both the church window and the wrought iron fence, which was casting some lovely shadows across the ground and the bells themselves.
