Normal Bee

Identification - possibly nomia sp. Possibly leaf cutter.

After the recent spate of giants, I thought I would bring you a normal sized bee for some comparison, just to show you that not all insects are mutants over here.

The bee is still unusual in that it is all black. Most of the bees I see in this size range are more traditionally robed in yellow and black. I have no idea on an identification yet. If it is an Indonesian only species then an ID will be impossible. I rely on most of my bugs occurring in adjacent countries, like Malaysia and Singapore, even India, were there are people who study and publish photographs of these bugs.
