Until last January I had not missed a day, then mom went in the hospital for a few weeks and I just couldn't do a photo every day.  Then I was back to every day once things settled out.   This year dad has been in the hospital since last Thursday.  I took some time this morning while waiting for the pharmacy to open to go for quick blip outing.  It was very foggy so the bird photography wasn't the best.  Eight years has gone by very quickly.  I have made so many friends here and had so much help with my photography, Thank you to everyone, especially those behind the scenes that keep us going.  I hope to be back to blip regularly again.

Dad update:  Dad was released from the hospital last night and I brought him home.  His lung has re-inflated and his X-rays looked good.  He is in a lot of pain from his fall and the broken rib plus the shingles.  I had stayed with mom while dad was in the hospital.  We have done what we can do to make everything work out for them at home and I will meet with the care giver tomorrow to find out about more hours.
